Niobium-1% zirconium alloy is used in the nuclear industry. It is regarded as a low-strength alloy. In addition, niobium alloys in general are inconvenient to weld, that is to say, both sides of the weld must be protected with a stream of inert gas, because niobium will react with oxygen and nitrogen in the air. Niobium-1% zirconium rod (NbZr Rod) is worked from the ingot to the final diameter.

Application: The niobium zirconium rods (NbZr Rod) are used in the fabrication of corrosion-resistant equipment and in the nuclear industries, and etc.
