Cemented carbide ball, commonly known as tungsten steel ball, refers to the ball and ball made of cemented carbide. The cemented carbide ball has high hardness, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, bending resistance and harsh service environment, which can replace steel ball products.
Tungsten steel balls, cemented carbide balls are made of carbide (WC, TIC) micron powder of high hardness refractory metal as main component, cobalt (CO), nickel (Ni) as binder, sintered in vacuum furnace or hydrogen reduction furnace.
Cemented carbide has a series of excellent properties, such as high hardness, wear resistance, good strength and toughness, heat resistance and corrosion resistance. Especially, its high hardness and wear resistance remain unchanged even at 500°C and high hardness at 1000°C. Cemented carbide is widely used in precision hardware, valve, mold, bearing, die casting, punching, fishing gear, counterweight, etc.
The typical composition is WC/Co8. TRM can provide various sizes of the tungsten carbide milling balls, with the milling jars. Custom work as per your drawing is also available on request. Please contact us for more details.
