Molybdenum electrode is formed by the powder metallurgy method and it is one of the main application for the molybdenum material. Molybdenum has the well corrosion resistance to the glass, and the high strength and the good resistant to oxidation under high temperature. So a typical application of molybdenum electrodes is used as the parts of the electrical heating equipment for glass fiber furnaces. It can exist in a glass solution of 1300℃ and has a long service life.

Application: The molybdenum electrode is used in the glass industry, such as the glassware, the optical glass, the insulation material and the glass fiber. And it can also be used in the rare earth industry.

Thermostability 89%
Machinability 85%
Corrosion Resistance 88%
