Molybdenum Copper alloy is produced by the infiltration method. The molybdenum powder is pressed and sintered to the shape with the certain porosity, then the copper infiltrated to get the final products.
Application: It is a great alternative to the tungsten copper for the weight sensitive applications, roughly 40% lighter. In addition, it has high thermal conductivity, good mechanical properties, thermal expansions, and there is no expensive tooling and can be machined to the component with the high precision.
