MMO Titanium Tubular Anode

MMO Titanium Anode, also called as MMO anode. MMO is the abbreviation of Mixed Metal Oxide.It takes titanium as the substrate, and coated with the precious metal oxide on the titanium substrate to make it have the good electrocatalytic activity and conductivity. It’s also known as DSA anode (Dimension Stable Anode), DSE (Dimension Stable electrode), PMTA (Precious Metal-coated Titanium Anode), OCTA (Oxide Coated Titanium Anode), ATA (Activated Titanium Anode, or NMCA (Noble Metal Coated Anode).

MMO tubular anode is also called titanium tube anode. MMO anode titanium tube, or noble metal oxide (MMO) titanium anode tube, is a kind of metal oxide with electrocatalytic activity after coating and sintering on the titanium tube substrate.

In the application of impressed current cathodic protection, MMO auxiliary anode, together with potentiostat, test post and reference electrode, constitutes a cathodic protection system;

In the process of using as auxiliary anode for deep well anode or bridge cathodic protection, the connecting cable is welded to form 2/3 anode strings, which is easy to install and easy to construct;

The service life and output current of different requirements can be designed and produced by adjusting the coating ratio. The type, thickness and anode size of MMO tubular anode coating can be customized according to the user, depending on the required current density, medium environment and design life.
