The MP35N alloy is a nickel-cobalt-chromium-molybdenum alloy known for its exceptional properties, including ultra-high tensile strength (up to 300 ksi, 2068 MPa), good ductility, toughness, and outstanding corrosion resistance. Additionally, it demonstrates remarkable resistance to vulcanization, high-temperature oxidation, and hydrogen embrittlement. These unique properties are achieved through processes such as work hardening, phase transformation, and aging treatment. If the alloy is used under sufficient work hardening conditions, its working temperature is -200 to 315°C, with a maximum recommended temperature 399°C (750°F).
Processing Capacity:
Our MP35N tubing is available in lengths as short as 0.006″ with wall thicknesses as thin as 0.001″ or inside diameters as small as 0.001″. Furthermore, we offer customization options to meet specific customer requirements, including thin walls, capillary IDs, angle cuts, slots, points, and holes. Ultrasonic cleaning is also available upon request.
Typical Application:
MP35N material can meet the ASTM F562 standards for the medical devices industry. It can be used as the marker band for the catheter or other medical devices in the medical industry. The ultra-thin MP35N tubes are used in neurosurgery.
TRM provides ultra-thin MP35N Thin Wall Tubing or Marker Band/Markers, as well as Pt/Ir Marker Band, Pt Marker Band, Au Marker Band, and Tantalum (Ta) Marker Band with stringent dimension tolerances and high quality. We also provide additional processing services such as cutting, splitting, drilling holes, and more. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more details.
