Typical application: High Purity Tantalum pentoxide (Ta2O5) is used for Lithium Tantalum (LT) single crystal, laser, microwave surface wave, information storage (memory), optical fiber communication, and infrared detection etc. It is also used for optical glass coating to improve the optical performance, glass modifier, and puttering target material. TA022-2 is used for LT and TA022-3 is used for optical glass.
